The crown of the happiest country in the world for the seventh consecutive year is taken by Finland.

The residents in Finland were raised to act prosocially, which translates to “wallets being returned if they are dropped in the street and people helping each other day in and day out,” John Helliwell, a founding editor of the World Happiness Report, tells to CNN. The Finland emerged as the happiest country in the world, topping the World Happiness Report 2024, the seventh successive year that the country has occupied the top spot on the list.
